Catchin' Some Rays At The End O' The Day

What a lovely way to end the day, basking in the remaining rays of the sun.

Stella found a comfy spot.

Jake prefers to keep guard at the gate.

Peppers continuing to dry.

A Chickadee and a Junco getting in a few last nibbles.

Hummingbirds pausing between gulps of nectar.

And people flying south.
Where?
Why?

Enjoy the sun while it lasts gang,

Seems we have lots of stormy weather headed our way.

  1. I forced my children out into the waning sun yesterday for Christmas card pictures. With the forecast, I wanted to get the best of it.

  2. I love that second cat photos. It seems he is too happy where he is to move to whatever he is looking at.

  3. Oh, what a great hummingbird shot! Well, I sure hope we'll really get that rain, I'm ready. So far, it's mostly cloudy and cold up here..

  4. Stefaneener, I think you got your photo shoot done just in time! Lots of clouds today and a smattering of rain already, finally.

Daphne, We call that cat the "purrfessor" because he does like to sit and study...

Town Mouse, Cold here today also, last night it got down to 28F, maybe lower in the vegetable garden. I wasn't expecting that.

  7. It looks like Stella has it made...a cat's life doesn't sound that bad if you ask me.
