The main head isn't very large, but the side shoots have long slender stems that are quite tender. I am impressed with the germination success of those older seeds. <br /><br />While much of my garden is planted in open pollinated varieties, there are certain items where an F1 hybrid is just better (or at least for my growing region) and I am not hesitant to grow them at all.
