I think our heat this year has been hard on the potatoes - they are just starting to die back but, judging by the foliage, the harvest will be minimal. And the dried corn looks interesting! It will be a while before I give corn a go in the garden again, though - at least until I find a way of keeping it safe from whatever kept eating the stalks.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-7407171868247942892018-07-09T13:57:36.868-07:002018-07-09T13:57:36.868-07:00Collards are one of my favorite vegetables. I didn't think they'd do well here, but they were fine. I'm excited to try a more carefully considered variety this fall.Denverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00760813078208846199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-56244076979349759332018-07-09T13:29:42.031-07:002018-07-09T13:29:42.031-07:00Like, Dave I’d never heard of Chico’s. Your treatment sounds yummy too. I generally grow them in fall so they mature in cooler weather. And I need to make some basil oil now that I have enough basil leaves to make it.Dave @ HappyAcreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03441364543023807886noreply@blogger.com
