I know what you mean though, as much as I love my fresh winter greens, there is nothing like a fresh juicy tomato straight from the garden. But there's still a few weeks left!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-41278509722290989042009-10-08T10:43:54.459-07:002009-10-08T10:43:54.459-07:00We've been eating tomatoes like mad around her...We've been eating tomatoes like mad around here, knowing there's not much time left. I know I'm supposed to be excited about seasonal eating and start getting my fall and winter harvest groove on, but I LOVE summer fruits and veggies and am always sad when the season winds down.Susan Morrisonhttp://www.garden-chick.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-6187197627868153962009-10-07T08:17:51.461-07:002009-10-07T08:17:51.461-07:00Make that Gigantesque, I've been calling that ...Make that Gigantesque, I've been calling that tomato by the wrong name all season because of a typo on the seed packet!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-71584849601034988782009-10-07T07:54:19.465-07:002009-10-07T07:54:19.465-07:00Hi Sally, It's hard to pick a favorite but I&#...Hi Sally, It's hard to pick a favorite but I'm leaning towards Giantesque - the fruits tend to be large and have a nice balance of sweet and acid. The plants are vigorous and productive. The only flaw has been a susceptiblity to blossom end rot. The plant might have an advantage over the other varieties in my garden because it's at the end of the row with a full south exposure...Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439775590468820468.post-23592311338276130102009-10-06T18:36:05.425-07:002009-10-06T18:36:05.425-07:00Hi Michelle,
