  5. Thanks Tyra, joey, chaiselongue. It certainly was lovely this morning! And now I need to get out there and yank some more weeds before it starts raining again.

  8. So lovely. Hey, I love it, BAGBUTT for the Bay Area Bloggers'! :) My foolish joke continues to spread its awful wings... hope you guys do get together, I can't tell you how rewarding and delightful it was to meet all those people, and we're set to do it again next month, with maybe even more joining! That's a real testament, that you would drive 2 1/2 hrs. to meet other of like mind. I'd almost fly down!

  9. Jan, Siskelkk, Karen, gotta keep an eye on mother nature, she sneaks all these pretty things by us when we're least expecting them!

Karen, I have to admit, it would also be an excuse to get my butt (har har) back up to The City - I don't visit any where near often enough these days.

  10. I also enjoy a moonrise @ sunset. An old timer told me when this occurred it was the best time for planting. Now if I tried to tell you whether this was true or not... it would get me to lying.

  11. Ang, does that mean that you're supposed to be out in the garden planting by the light of the moon? And yes, moonrise at sunset is a lovely sight to behold, especially a full moon.

  12. This is really an amazing photo, Michelle! I remember that day-my son and I could see the moon to our left and the sun on our right.

  13. Thanks Jan, somehow it always seems special when you get to experience sunrise and moonset (or vice versa) at the same time. It's magical.
