It's not always balmy days and ripe tomatoes around here. Last night was clear and cold. The temperature under the oak tree by the vegetable garden at about 8:00 this morning showed:
Out in the open there was some frost. I have to admit, though, that I had to search for some suitable frosty pics. Don't know why these look fuzzy, the camera indicated they were in focus. Must have been the cold (right).
Not Frosty, Just Pretty
We had frost here too, but I was in too much of a rush getting out the door this morning to take pics! I bet some of my plants died back, I haven't checked for that yet either. How did your tomatoes fare?

ReplyDeleteKaren, the tomatoes are ok so far, but a few more nights like the last two and they'll be done. Time to think of something to make with green tomatoes!
